AVG Security Toolbar is not a mandatory component. To uninstall the AVG Security Toolbar:
1. Run the latest AVG installation package which can be downloaded here:
http://www.avg.com/download.prd-avc.line-2012
(AVG Anti-Virus 2012)
http://www.avg.com/download.prd-isc.line-2012
(AVG Internet Security 2012)
2. Choose the "Repair installation" option.
3. On the next page, uncheck the "Yes, I wish to install the AVG Security Toolbar" check box.
4. Finish the installation wizard and update AVG.
Now the AVG Security Toolbar is removed from your browser.
