AVG Scan speed priority

You can also adjust the scanning speed of AVG. To adjust scan priority, follow these steps:

1. Open AVG.
2. Click Tools -> Advanced settings.
3. Click Scans and choose Whole computer scan.
4. You can adjust how quickly Scan completes at the bottom and move the slider to the left to do a slow scan (low resource usage; the scan will take longer but other processes and applications should not be affected).
5. Click OK.
